Literally translated from Creole Patois as ‘beautiful day’. Bel Jou’s relaxed atmosphere is equally appealing whether you are looking for a leisurely holiday or a real Caribbean experience.

There are 64 air-conditioned bedrooms, 52 of which are in the main building and have doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the sea and hotel gardens. Rooms for twin occupancy have twin beds.
The remaining 12 rooms are for single guests and are situated in spacious terraced bunglows with French doors opening onto a terrace.The terraces also have a sun lounger, dining table and chairs from which you can fully appreciate the views in comfort and style.
All bathrooms have a shower and wc, and all rooms have a flat-screen television, DVD player, telephone, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, fridge and safe.

Upgrade to a Deluxe Room with terrace for £25 per person, per night, subject to availability (based on two people sharing). Two Deluxe Rooms are available and each is fitted with one super king-size bed and enhanced room facilities. The private sun terraces have recently been extended and fitted with trellis privacy screens. You can relax on the curtain-shaded day-bed or stretch out on the sun-loungers, cooling down now and again under your outdoor shower.
Food and drink
You will be staying on an all-inclusive basis, with a free bar serving local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11am until 11pm each day. There will be a welcome drink, cocktail party and celebration dinner during your stay.
Bel Jou offers you a choice of dining options. The Verandah restaurant, which has received Saga's one-rosette Good Food award extends out on to the terrace, so that you can choose to dine al fresco or indoors. All evening meals will be served in the Verandah Restaurant
The Cabana grill is also available for light lunches daily, except Sundays.
Meals are a mixture of buffet and waiter service and the cuisine is local and international with influences from the best of modern British and classic French styles.
