Customer reviews

Originally constructed as five town houses in 1743, Pratt's Hotel is an attractive Georgian building of honey-hued stone.

Its style reflects the Palladian aspirations of Bath's neoclassical age which can be seen throughout the city.

Out and about

Bath is a garden city in the truest sense - where the Georgian architectural attractions are embraced by the natural surroundings.

Two of the best-known examples are the grand Royal Crescent, a mile away, and Pulteney Bridge, which straddles the River Avon 600 yards away and is one of the few bridges in the world to have store fronts built in.

Then there are the museums, theatres and array of boutiques for you to visit, all enclosed within the city's compact centre.

Venture into the Somerset countryside and you will also find such sites as Longleat House and Safari Park, Stonehenge, Avebury, and Cheddar Cave and Gorge.
