Country Drive (half day)

Take a drive along leafy lanes through Jersey’s countryside, including a visit to the unique Shell Garden, started by a man called Colin Soudain in 1957 and decorated entirely with shells gathered from local beaches. Continue to the Treasures of the Earth Exhibition, a ‘crystal cave’ filled with big crystals, fossils and the largest amethyst in the World.

You also stop at the Battle of Flowers Museum, where you can see some of the floral sculptures created for the decorated floats from Jersey’s famous annual ‘Battle of Flowers’ parades. These include life-size horses, zebras, elephants, polar bears and a Father Christmas pulled by four reindeers.

Admission to the Shell Garden (weather permitting) and Battle of Flowers Museum is also included.

Please note that the Shell Garden is closed in 2012. You will now visit the Battle of Flowers Museum and then take a country drive to Devils Hole for refreshments.
