Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is one of the most famous game parks in the world. It is also one of the biggest, almost the size of Switzerland, and one of the oldest, established in 1898. You may be lucky enough to see some of the ‘Big Five’ - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.
The Drakensberg Mountains
Literally meaning ‘dragon mountains’, the Drakensbergs form a long basalt escarpment of numerous sheer, jagged peaks, in stark contrast to the green, verdant valleys to their east. They have names such as Giant Castle, Cathedral Peak, the Sentinel and Thabana Ntleyana, meaning ‘Beautiful Mountain’.

Shiduli Private Game Lodge

Set in the wildlife enriched Lowveld in Limpopo Province, this intimate lodge provides the perfect base from which to see Africa’s indigenous animals and birds during thrilling game drives into Karongwe Private Game Reserve accompanied by local Shangaan game trackers.

Accommodation

There are just 24 suites, each featuring a veranda with garden views from which you can enjoy excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

Each room features an en suite bathroom and is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, personal safe and hairdryer.

Food and drink

Your stay is on a full-board basis and there is a free bar serving a selection of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11am to 11pm daily.

Some meals are served in the outdoor ‘boma’ dining area, and dinners may be followed by traditional dancing.

The lodge staff will be happy to arrange special meals on demand, such as a romantic breakfast in the ‘bush’ for those celebrating a wedding anniversary.
