Set overlooking the life-sustaining waters of the Crocodile River, this intimate lodge gives you the unique opportunity to observe Africa’s indigenous wildlife and exotic birdlife at close quarters.
As the Crocodile River flows all year round, it attracts an abundance of wildlife to its waters including elephants, lions and pied kingfishers.
The lodge is located less than 20 minutes’ drive from Malelane town, which has a few small convenience stores and medical facilities. Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is approximately 45 minutes’ drive from the lodge.
Established in 1898, Kruger National Park is the largest game reserve in Africa and home to many rare examples of African flora and fauna. Created to protect and rehabilitate the native wildlife that had been decimated through years of uncontrolled hunting, the park is an inspiring showcase of Africa’s unique biodiversity.
The park is home to more species of mammals than any other African game reserve including elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and impalas.
The Crocodile River and the Mjejane River Lodge, which is set on the southern edge of the park, is conveniently located for exploring nearby Mozambique and Swaziland, and the many attractions of the Drakensberg escarpment. Please note: This holiday includes two nights aboard aircraft.
