The town features a small medina, local market, shops, cafés and a museum housing many artefacts from antiquity.

Enfidha airport is approximately 90 minutes’ drive away.

Mahdia

Situated on a peninsula south of Tunis, Mahdia is a real working town where you’ll see fishing boats lining the harbour after bringing in the morning’s catch.

A short stroll around the town will reveal plenty of reminders of Mahdia’s former glory as a capital of the Fatimid dynasty, and you’ll also find plenty of cafés in which to while away the afternoon.
