Day 1 UK to Havana
After taking Saga’s included UK door-to-door travel service to the airport, fly to Havana. Stay three nights on half board at the H10 Panorama Hotel (3Q). D
Day 2 Havana
Contrast old and new Havana on an included tour. Optional evening excursion to the Tropicana Nightclub. B, L, D
Cabaret is very popular in Cuba and it is not just staged for the benefit of visitors! The most famous cabaret is staged at the Tropicana, where you can enjoy an open-air, traditional musical extravaganza in the Folies Bergères style.
Day 3 Havana
Today you're free to explore Havana independently or perhaps join a full-day optional excursion to the tranquil Viñales Valley. B, D
Countless caverns pierce the Viñales Valley mogotes (strangely-shaped limestone formations), such as the Cueva del Indio, where you'll take a boat ride on a subterranean lake. You'll also see the vast Mural de la Prehistoria, commissioned by Fidel Castro, which is painted on a mogote in the valley of Dos Hermanas. Lunch is included in a Creole restaurant.
Day 4 Havana to Cayo Santa Maria
Join an included tour of Santa Clara and visit the Che Guevara Mausoleum. Two-night seaside resort stay at the all-inclusive Memories Paraiso Azul Beach Resort (4Q). B, L, D
Day 5 Cayo Santa Maria
At leisure. Perhaps explore Cayo Santa Maria or relax on one of its beautiful beaches. B, L, D
Day 6 Cayo Santa Maria to Sancti Spiritus
An included tour visits Trinidad and the famous La Canchanchara Bar. Stay overnight at the Villa Rancho Hatuey (2Q). B, L, D
Day 7 Sancti Spiritus to Camaguey
Included city tours of Sancti Spiritus and Camaguey. Stay overnight at the Hotel Colon (2Q). B, L, D
Day 8 Camaguey to Santiago De Cuba
Included tour of Bayamo. Stay three nights at the Melia Santiago de Cuba Hotel (4Q). B, L, D

Day 10 Santiago de Cuba
You can spend today at leisure, taking advantage of the hotel facilities or exploring independently. B, D
Santiago de Cuba’s natural harbour has made it an important port for the past five centuries and a cruise on its waters provides a new perspective on Cuba’s second city. You will also be able to watch the Changing of the Guard at Santiago Cementario – a cemetery built for the victims of the war of independence.
Day 11 Santiago de Cuba to Playa Pesquero
Travel to Playa Pesquero pausing en route for lunch. Stay three nights at the all-inclusive Playa Costa Verde (4Q), a lively seaside resort hotel near Holguin. B, L, D
Day 12 At leisure
The next two days are free for you to relax on the beach or to enjoy the leisure facilities at your hotel. B, L, D
The archaeological Museo Chorro de Maita protects the site of an excavated Indian village and provides some intriguing insights into the life of indigenous Cubans before the coming of Columbus. It is set in a picturesque area on a hilltop in Holguin, five kilometres south of Guardalavaca. You also visit a small farm and replica village.
Day 13 Playa Pesquero
Spend the day at leisure or perhaps join an optional excursion to swim with dolphins. Enjoy a farewell dinner. B, L, D
Travel to Guardalavaca and take a boat trip to Acuario Cayo Naranjo where you'll visit a sealife complex. Enjoy an acrobatics show with dolphins, and even experience the thrill of joining them for a swim (additional charge). You'll also get the chance to see some sealions too.
Day 14 Holguin to Havana
Fly to Havana and stay overnight at the H10 Panorama Hotel (3Q). B, L, D
Day 15 Havana to UK
An optional excursion traces Ernest Hemingway’s life in Cuba. Travel to the airport for your return overnight flight back the the UK. B
This excursion focuses on Nobel prize-winning author Ernest Hemingway’s life in Havana, his home for almost 20 years. You'll visit his country home, which remains as he left it in 1959. You can explore the grounds and climb a small tower in the gardens which offers lovely views of the museum and Havana city. From there, continue to Cojímar, a fishing town on the outskirts of Havana, where Hemingway kept his yacht and took his inspiration for his Nobel Prize-winning novel The Old Man and the Sea.
You'll complete the tour by revisiting old Havana and the Floridita bar: a regular haunt for Hemingway and his literary and Hollywood friends.
Day 16 UK
Arrive in the morning for your included UK door-to-door travel service home.
Before your tour spend three nights in Havana at the H10 Panorama Hotel (3Q) and explore this fascinating city with included visits and orientation tour. Single supplement applies.
