Join us as we sail south for longer, balmy days in the beautiful Med

Our Mediterranean cruises are a fantastic way to explore many different cities, all on one action-packed holiday. Imagine the cost – and hassle – of organising city breaks in Rome, Florence and Lisbon… well on our itineraries, you can do it all on one enjoyable holiday!

But it’s even better than that – you’ll also discover beautiful, sun-kissed islands such as Corsica, Sardinia, Ibiza and Minorca, combining busy day’s sightseeing with gentler days of relaxing. From foodies to art aficionados, lovers of ancient history or modern city breaks, our small-ship cruises around the Mediterranean Sea really do offer something for everyone.

Start choosing your perfect cruise around the Mediterranean

As the world’s largest inland sea, the Mediterranean has so many highlights. Luckily, our team of Cruise Planners have created itineraries that will take you to the region’s finest cities and ports – offering you so much choice for things to see and do on your cruise.

Standouts include the iconic city of Dubrovnik in Croatia, the stunning white and blue domes of Santorini in Greece and Italy’s trio of Rome, Florence and Venice.

Showcase ports in the Med

The smaller size of our ships means we can sail along some of the Mediterranean’s rivers too – waterways that would be totally off-limits to the big cruise liners. This means on selected Mediterranean itineraries we’ll sail up the Guadalquivir river to sunny Seville, or along Portugal’s picturesque Douro.

It’s like enjoying a river cruise on an ocean-going ship – the best of both worlds!

Small ships, big adventures

On our itineraries you can discover Michelangelo’s masterworks in the Vatican, unravel Gaudi’s eccentric creations in Barcelona, and explore the Guggenheim Museum, cited as one of the most important modern architectural designs in the world.

We even have a dedicated art-themed cruise sailing in 2018, led by experts and professional artists who’ll bring the region’s art treasures to life.

Are you an art aficionado?

Contrast tasty Tapas in Spain with Italy’s spaghetti vongole and spanakopita in Greece, while back on the ship, look forward to alfresco deck barbecues as our chefs serve up the real flavours of the region.

With less guests to cater for, we offer a more boutique fine dining experience – the chefs will often nip ashore in the morning to buy the day’s catch from the local markets. It doesn’t get fresher than that!

Perfect for foodies too...

We’re mooring overnight in Venice next year, the perfect chance to see more ashore at your own pace. From an essential gondola ride, to the buzzing attractions of St Mark’s Square, to the smaller churches and museums packed with culture – explore as much as you wish.

Or step back in time to the 18th century with an opulent evening opera performance in the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, making the most of the overnight mooring.
